Green leafy vegetable which has a low calorie content and packed full of nutrients. Whilst it can be stir fied on its own, blended into a smoothie, it makes an excellent addtion to the efo riro, efo egusi.
Also commonly known as Yaji. Used to season the popular Nigerian street food suya. Made from cayennne peppers, kulikuli{ peanut snack}, ginger, garlic and salt. Delious on chicken and meat as it has a rich nutty aromatic ………. Not suitable for people with nut allergies.
Mild -flavoured fish which is very easy to prepare and cook. Very nice in stews or grilled on its own to be accompanied by dodo{ fried plantains} and dundun{fried yams}
